    Hello,
I just purchased two double-bit axes and I am just looking for some general info about these axes. The main one that I am looking for info about is the axe stamped with CMStP&P. I know that stood for the Milwaukee road railroad but I havent been able to find any info on a double bit axe with that. I have seen hatchets with this stamp but never a double bit axe. Does anyone have any info on this axe or how rare it is? The other axe I know a bit about but still just want to learn more if anyone has a lot of info on it.
Thank you for any and all help ed96ff70-3d0e-4d44-a754-a77c70a6fe5a.jpg 8b20e480-75bd-4f58-9322-a5bfe6712afd.jpg a940c9aa-f360-48e3-8755-f591d34a59c7.jpg

They both look to be in good shape . The Sager is a Swampers pattern and the other is a Michigan i think . The Swamper pattern was popular on the west coast in the hand falling days.
Will u actually Chop with them or just collect ?
