Picked up a straight-gassed 346xp for $40 and put an OEM c&p in it. Ain't purdy but she rocks!

Did you go with the 42mm OE C+P or go with NE 50cc?

I stuck with the 42mm. It's just my backup everyday firewood saw.

That's a deal! I like my saws looking like they earn their keep, that one fits the bill.

I had both the OE and NE at the same time kept the OE, sent the NE down the road. I liked the OE because it was more like my 242XP, small, light and fast. If I want 50cc I go to my Poulan 3000 or a 5100S. Great saw, I predict it will not be the 'backup' for long!

It's my go-to saw for now! I love the weight as well as hearing it scream.

I have an OE as well, wouldn't trade it for anything! I saw (I pun lol) real quick after running it why everyone talks about them. Great saws.
