Found a Husqvarna 450 on the local Marketplace. Looked to be in good shape and when I picked it up it fired right up. I sped the idle up some as it was just a wee bit cold blooded until it warmed up some.
It was advertised with an 18” bar but I was glad to see it is actually 20”.
Not a big fan of the single bar stud but I’ve run other saws with only one and never had an issue.
This one was plugged up under the clutch cover but judging the shape of the bar and sprocket it hasn’t seen a lot of time in wood.
Looking forward to trying some different saws in the near future.

Hope it serves you well. I had one and it didn’t take me long to realize it wasn’t what I’d hoped for. Sailed it and got an XP. I actually like the 350 over the 4.

Thanks for the info. Will give it a try. I don’t think I will ever have a need to run it too hard as there are a lot of saws here for the bigger stuff.
