Iowa charity cut and GTG Oct 11 2014

I would like to invite the FHC group to our Charity cut / GTG. Below is a video of part of our last charity cut and a link to our Firewood Facebook page.

Friday night the grill and fire pit will be going, so bring your own bratwurst, burgers or dogs. BYOB.

For breakfast lots of coffee and we have 5 lbs of bacon, two egg casseroles, juice and more coffee.

Still need someone to bring either cinnamon rolls or sticky buns.

For lunch we plan on pulled pork sandwiches, chili, hash brown casserole, baked beans, many pies, and half a sheet cake with our firewood helper logo on it. And more coffee.

Supper will be what we have left over or Dominos.

Split Second log splitters will be helping and demoing two log splitters. Plus a log lift and log cart.
AE Metal Werx will have his newly finished hydro splitter.
There will also be a Super Split HD and Super Split Special Edition log splitter to play with.
I will have my Vermeer S800 running the TM 24inch Pro splitter for larger round and the A300 with the 30 inch TM pro for the impossible pieces.

Aww man! I just signed up to work that day earlier today! Kicking myself but I can't go back on my word.

Where in this great state are you located?

 

I cant make it even though its barely 30 minutes from where I'm sitting.Even if I finally get a Saturday off,I'm way behind on getting other things done around here & at parents place also.

The one in Iowa? I was going to carpool down there with Sinngetreu, but we got a tree job at the last minute.

Sounds like fun unfortunately this is the wrong time of year for me to go galavantin around since there's to much work to be done. Thanks for the heads up though.

 

sounds like fun but I work unfortunately. not to mention Waukee used to be my biggest rival in HS.. but seriously. if I didn't work I'd be there.

 

When your that close you got to go. Even if it is just to say hi and hang out Friday night. Once you attend just one event you are hooked. We drove the RV 620 miles one way to attend an event last weekend. Western Kentucky GTG. Love it.

 

Doug is right! 620 to Murray, 115 to Doug's, and 500 to Carthage Nov 1. We are addicted to saws and meeting the people of the chainsaw world!
