It's a form of meditation - no mantra word needed, just wood and gas.

Yeah I lucked out getting it for free. Came with a bushhog...scrape blade...scoop...smoothing harrows...boom..5 tooth spring plow and a tiller!

We thought she would sell it after my grandfather died to help with bills. I tried to pay her some but she wouldn't take it.

Good stuff - awesome when you can end up with a family heirloom that you can put to good use! And it was obviously well cared for! Some of my best and hardest worked tools came from my grandfather. His cub leaks a little oil, but she starts up cold on like 1/2 crank. They made all kinds of attachments for it too. I also have his homemade steel wood trailer, and his 1959 DeWalt radial arm saw. I put new motor bearings in it and build a new table for it over the winter, and it's probably my most accurate saw.

They don't make stuff like they used to - hold on to that!

It's not for sale trust me. Sounds like you have cool machine too. I plan on buying a cub someday. I want a belly mower so I can cut my yard.

That saw would come in handy. Sounds pretty sweet.
