I wouldn't let a few rain drops hold me back from picking up a new tractor. It's the same stuff that comes out of the shower every night.

lukem Jeffrey Svoboda , weather broke and i got it. I just have a healthy fear of larger trailers and have seen failures and near misses. I avoid using them. Its a good one with working brakes, but towing in a storm is unnecessary when an hour difference in waiting avoids it.
I lost a deputy a few years ago, when a trailer jackknifed in front of him. I take no chances IMG_1907.jpeg IMG_1906.jpeg IMG_1906.jpeg

A man with experience is not at the mercy of the man with an opinion. Sounds like hauling in the rain is out for you.

Anyway, go put some hours on that machine and report back.

What is the benefit to a belly mower compared to a flail or finish mower? ability to swap attachments on the 3pt and keep the belly mower on?

cezar the belly mower is pto driven, and the rear pto can be operated simultaneously. The belly mower mainly for me is to keep my upper pasture maintained nicely and timely. And my shooting range
I have an older five foot finish mower i will try to resurrect for the rest of the property , along the creeks and hilly areas i do t want the big tractor around

so far it is doing great.
