30 years ago today Judy and I picked up a new motor home and while driving home I turned the radio on basically just to make sure it worked. That is when they had a news flash about a bombing in Oklahoma City. Wow! I stopped and told Judy (she was following in our car). It was a strange feeling driving the rest of the way home.

    Who remembers?

Heartbreaking, Bless all the kids and adults. What struck me hard was the Columbine shooting. I was working that day and every stop I had they either had a radio or tv on with updates.

My girlfriend and I were on winery tour and heard the news. Stopped at my best friend’s father’s house and watched the coverage. Sad.

I sure do. I remember the day but don’t recall exactly where I was when I heard. Crazy pics etched in our memories.

I was working at Westvaco in Maryland, went home for lunch, turned the TV on and did not go back to work! Sad, sad day!

Indeed I remember. Such a terrible event . Being in law enforcement, I followed how investigators were sifting through debris for clues. First big one was getting the vehicle number on the suspect vehicle, from the rear end axle/differential .

Years later, Mcv****** was given the needle about an hour away from me. One of our detectives went to Terre Haute to assist in surveillance on potential protesters getting out of hand. No problems from the few whom were there.

hopefully he had a warm reception as he slipped into the next realm

I’ve personally put tons and tons of Westvaco paper (Sterling Gloss)through printing presses. Always preferred it over Glatfelter.

I was watching TV. My roommate was walking through the living room heading to work and he stopped to watch. He was late to work that day

30 years ago I was working 2nd or 3rd shift. If it was 3rd shift then I was taking night classes (continuing education to learn about computers). I was putting in as much overtime as I could soak up as we were building our house and doing pet sitting as well.

I don't think we had cable access yet,so would have only had one TV station that we could sometimes get - and that was only operating from sometime in the morning until 11 in the evening.

I probably didn't even hear about the bombing for a couple of days.
