80's for highs this week. 60's for highs next week. 50's for highs the following week. We're getting there.
We’re still hitting the high 90’s with heat index in the 110* range. My name is Mike, and I'm a hoarder.
Looking ahead just breaking 80 next couple days, then looks like high of low to mid 70s into October. I dont think we'll have a fire anytime soon. Maybe if its a rainy day and the house feels damp.
Lower temps will begin of Sunday when we may get out of the 50's just to hit the high. The highs after that will be in the 60's with lows in the 40's/50's. Leaves have been changing for some time now and a lot of them have been dropping. Picked most of the pumpkins from the garden, the garlic, onions, carrots and potatoes also. Just some squash cukes and tomatoes left to tough it out.
Sitting at 61*. Pretty good thunderstorm rolled through last night. Got some much needed rain. Highs of Mid to high 70s until first week of october.
Having small woodstove fires daily now. Burning mixed chunks of maple, oak, ash, and whatever found its way into the chunk pile.
We've had a couple of fires in the mornings. Nothing crazy. We've had some rain/snow mix falling from the sky, but not sticking to the ground in my area. This is the time of year when we go to bed with the bedroom window open and wake up with frost on the window sill. I love it.
73 and wet. Probably a month out from burning wood. Had a couple days of rain which is great, major drought, the trees and vegetation look awful. One strong windstorm and the leaves will be on the ground. Probably won’t have any outdoor fires, even with the rains it not safe.
No fire yet but I did bring in some shoulder wood for when the time is right for a fire. It looks like I may have a fire this coming Tuesday if the weather guessers are right.
We have some nights in the upper 40s coming but it's looking like burning season is still a ways off for me. Typically I would have already had my first small fire right around now, but it's not in the cards I guess. Fine by me as I still have to climb up on my roof and clean my chimney. Definitely looking forward to having that first fire though
