We had the table already on our 30 ton County Line splitter, but to speed production, we added support legs to table and ramps.
+1 on the hatchet holder. Gonna add one for my hatchet and one for the short Pickeroon as well. If I can ever find the time, I’m going to add a folding table with legs to the log catchers on my county line, so that I can stage a whole bunch of rounds at one time and just drag them to the splitting chamber with the pickeroon. I put two log catchers on the engine side of the splitter. Rear one is directly over the engine and protects it from falling rounds/splits.
That will probably collapse. When we first put the ramps on the log catch table, bent the brackets...reinforced those with angle iron Then made better support legs for table and ramp IMO, this is better than a table, don't have to lift rounds, and can stage a lot of wood to process And we have split some 28"+ rounds on this setup...
