Hey everyone, this is my first post on FHC. I've been lurking for about 5 years, though, and have learned a ton during that time. I appreciate all of the knowledge that's on here - it helped me tremendously when I first purchased my woodstove.

I heat my house with wood, but I'm looking to get into selling bundled wood to a few local campgrounds. From my conversations with staff, several of the local campgrounds don't have regular wood suppliers. That being the case, they don't have any idea how much wood they'd sell.

I know there isn't one right answer, but I was wondering if those of you who sell to campgrounds could suggest an "average" amount sold based on the size of the campground. For example, I'd love to hear how many cords/bundles you sell to a 100 slot campground over the course of a season. I know that it all depends on a lot of different factors, but I'm completely in the dark right now so any info would be much appreciated.

I'd really like to have a good idea how much I should be splitting now to get a jump on seasoning for the spring and summer. I have several cords of campfire wood already c/s/s, but would like any input at all on what I should be planning for. If I take this on it's pretty important to me that I have adequate supply and decently seasoned wood to properly service the account and give a good experience to my customers.

Thank you for any guidance you may be able to provide. Again, FHC is a wealth of information, and I really appreciate any info whatsoever.

How many seasonal sites vs overnight sites are there. My experience as an avid glamper is the seasonal campers don't buy bundles they bring in their own bulk in.
Overnight sites I would go with two bundles per night per site. Much more around summer holidays

Interested to see what suggestions you get here.
I've got a thought or two but I've never sold wood so I don't want to give bad advice.

I’ll be watching this because I’ve been wanting to start doing bundle sales.

Welcome to the club. Glad you're here.
Never sold any bundles. Have sold some bulk to a couple campgrounds when they were having events.
