Got a borrowed trailer and started moving wood from the old house to new house today. Took about a cord or so of oak over for using the trailer. 1 load down probably 4 or so to go over the next few weeks. Trailer load is all oak and truck bed is maple/cherry/poplar/pine mix. Truck pulled it fine but could definetly tell it was back there!

4 cord isn't too hateful. I can't imagine moving my hoard but I'd definitely do it if I moved.

An ambitious undertaking no doubt. That trailer is a big help for sure. When i moved back in 2009 the first thing i was worried about was my wood stash! :loco:

Picked up 3 ibc totes today and filled with semi seasoned oak, still has a year or 2 to go. Goal is to be picking up about 4 totes a month until I have 20 or so

    Hey that's awesome!
We've done similar, moving about 11 cord to the new shed.....from our place and a friend's place. Lotsa doing.
Looking forward to pics of the stash at the new digs!
