I'll say it again, WE cannot look or read a PM "UNLESS" YOU bring us into the Conversation or you report it. Nobody is looking at your PM's, I Guarantee you! The Software will not allow it, it takes the ADMIN program to get into a PM and thats only 2 people here! Scotty Overkill and Well Seasoned. THATS IT!

We looked for years to replace husband's full size work truck (used market), the requirements were stick shift and power locks/windows. Funny certain men have similar tastes in trucks :)

Came across this old thread because my wife and I are looking at buying a new mini van. She likes the Toyota Sienna. I can't believe what they cost!!! One dealer we went to only had 2 available. A new 2024 AWD Sienna for $57,000 and a used 2019 AWD Sienna with 51,000 miles on it for $37,000! I knew what they were before we went to look, but even now I can't fathom paying that much for a van. My Chevy Silverado did not cost as much as either of those vehicles! Right now we have the Silverado and a Ford Escape... the Escape is on it's last leg and always has been a car I've regretted buying. I just need to get over these prices I guess, but don't know if I will ever be able to stomach those prices.

Not so, it probably depends in the year or model. We had a 2007 we put 180k on before giving to our derelict of a son, who promptly trashed it. The 2007-2010 models are pretty common & sought after here for their reliability. BUT everyone’s mileage will vary.

Only problem we had was a starter go out.

Right? As long as 'everyone' keeps paying the ridiculous prices, they're gonna keep charging them.

Huh?? In all seriousness and with all due respect, can you explain for me?

40 hours is 40 hours? It's a proven fact that in most cases you get more work done in 4 - 10 hour days then in 5 - 8s. Less start up/shut down, etc, etc,.

From what I'm seeing not a lot of people are buying new vehicles... or homes, or taking on any major expenses for that matter. Everyone not wearing green shirts and getting showered with fiat currency is hunkered down right now. All those years of near-zero interest rates and now it's time to pay the piper. Good luck to everyone negotiating contracts when nobody's buying in this climate.

I thought they were asking for 4 -8s to be full time..
Products lines are difficult with 2 ten hours shifts then a 4… most do 8 or 12 hour shifts

There have been a few studies done on 4 day work weeks; I believe mostly outside of the US (England and/or Australia) in an office environment. I believe the results have been mostly positive. I want to say the participants worked four 8 hour days. This resulted in more efficient use of time, quicker meetings and the same, if not slightly better productivity vs a traditional 5 day work week.

Now, I’m going off memory here, so feel free to fact check me!
