Free 'Silver Maple' in Wyoming

    I went today to get free "silver maple." In Wyoming, a Maple or Ash tree is gold if you can find it. I got there and I said, "oh, that's an Aspen." The son who is my age corrects me that it's a Silver Maple. The father then says, "yeah, definitely a silver maple. If you look at the back of the leaves, they are silver." Anyone have any funny tree identifications?
