This stack had been leaning hard for weeks. Big ugly splits from years ago when I didn’t care what they looked like.
I was halfway done when I took the pic. Any restack sux balls. I’ll be able to sleep soundly tonight.
wow! 83° dew point is extremely uncomfortable! I start to feel the humidity in summer once it starts getting to about mid 50's dew point and higher.
That stinks. I found a broken rack last week as the reclaimed cedar was too weak for end support and it let go. I didnt restack it yet.
I like the look of that chart, nice! Been hotter than the subject matter in an Alan Jackson song here in WI. Not a fan
It was the basis for our work/ rest periods in the army. We had annual training the first two weeks in august every summer so we had to get hourly and sometimes half-hour reports on wet bulb. nco’s were responsible for adhering to it, at least in our section. We wanted absolutely nothing to do with heat injuries in peacetime. just always been in my mind. Especially this week while looking to get some splitting and stuff done.
I hate when the humidity get high. Just makes it miserable to work. But some things have to get done. Been noticing that the evening daylight is getting shorter, want be long and those frosty mornings will be here.
We don't need any reminder of warm days remaining. It's been too hot to do much, or raining. Sure, I'm excited for hard water, but not the work of moving snow or the hastle of putting on layers just to go outside.
