Found this in one of the old barn that I’m tearing down . Barn was built around 1900 . It’s about 8ft long and has a taper . I’m thinking it’s worth a zillion bucks !
Looks like one of the shafts that are on either side of single horse drawn wagon or buggy. Im not sure of the actual term. The horses harness is attached to them to pull said wagon / buggy. Ma guess anyway. Lol
Looks like a scraper of sorts. I could use an implement like that in the springtime when cleaning out my chicken run. Or if there's a layer of half-frozen slush on the driveway that I'm trying to get under and chip away at. Or if you're hanging a door and need to prop it up while you set the hinges. Any number of uses really, but it's definitely nothing I've ever seen before.
Looks like a shovel off an old cultivator and someone attached it. No doubt there was something he couldn't reach so made do with what he had.
Found 8 more just like it . Old friend who’s a farmer came over and thought it was the same thing when I sent him pics . After looking at it in person he said no . He’s not sure what they were used for but he took one to ask around .
