    Impressive. Largest pile I've ever done was about 3.5 cord.

    It was in the front yard. I'd have never have heard the end of it if I let it sit there like that.

    I found these on FB Marketplace a while back. Got a ton of them, for around 8-10 bucks each. As I use up my hoard of wood, I'll replace the old rotted wooden skids with plastic.

    No sir, gotta save up some good logs to mill first. I've got a few big spruce trees to take down soon, those will end up being milled for the project. I'll post a thread of all that when the time comes....

    As for inventory, I'm sitting on close to 36 full cord. Around 7 years of heat.

    Yep, now I gotta get all that topsoil moved that I have piled up there on the other side of the culvert so I can continue the stacks.....lol

    I plan on building a big holz hausen right in that spot eventually. More for decoration than anything.....lol

    I like me some nice looking stacks, plus the cribbed sections (around every 8-10') help keep that stack nice and stable for years.....
