    We have been dealing with smoke every year for the last few years. When it gets bad we close the house up and use the air conditioning. I also bought Levoit air purfiers/hepa filters for each room. It helps the sinus congestion from smoke irritation. You all have my sympathy, it just plain sucks.

    I have often wondered how commercial interests get away with pollution while everyday citizens can't? The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency will issue a strict burning ban with $1000 penalties for using any wood stove, no matter how clean the exhaust. But you drive past a MacDonald's or especially a Burger King at lunch time and they are surrounded by a great cloud of fat laden smoke that is somehow perfectly legal.:eek: :mad:

    simple the little guy generally doesn't have the means to fight, the big boys will drag it out for years . So the town, city, state is eating mega lawyer fees and filing fees vs nicking the little guy with literally no cost. Just ask the IRS they are experts at it not to mention their daily compounded interest.
