You guys crack me up!! Well, I've gotten all the wood from the last three jobs split.....The two big oaks from last week and the locust from yesterday. There is around 4 cord there that will get stacked starting tomorrow!

damm Scotty you are a machine. Ive still got hte half cord of rounds in my driveway since August and I dont know when Ill get around to it. But whats this out the door at 7 thing? Im already at work by then... come on man up (ducks for cover)
absolutely, Jack......they are my WHOLE world!! They are looking forward to the heating season as well, we enjoy those evenings huddled near the fireplace.....
Brother if I could fire that chainsaw up at 5:30-6:00am I would be there earlier, but don't want to pizz the neighbors off when we do these tree jobs.....lol.... I am usually at work by 6:30 too....
That time of the morning, I'm still holding my pillow down. Usually up by 9, But I go to bed around midnight. I really miss those days I could look back at a day's work and be grateful to have been able to do something useful. I can't imagine all that firewood in Scotty's backyard. Much more than impressive.
I'm sure you more than earned some rest in your lifetime....you and others truly kept this country free, you sacrificed more than I ever did, you and others like you impress me. I'm usually in and out of consciousness from around 10 pm till 12 am on the couch in the living room till the wife drags me up to bed.....back up at 6 am to do it again.....
That is such a great feeling, when the fam is nice and toasty around the stove, and even just one of them says, "Dad, I'm so glad we have wood ready..." That makes it all worth it. Nice work Scotty.
