It is another good morning for a fire…30s and very windy today. Spring looks to be back by mid-week!

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY.
71° with light rain, more rain coming this morning, with winds picking up later today. Gale warning for the beach. Got our meeting at noon, don't know what other plans we have.
We enjoyed some time on the go cart track yesterday... 34366.jpeg

Morning all. After our warm day yesterday ( I think it got to 70 F) we have a heavy overcast and rain in the forecast. We are making a trip down to visit a friend who is in hospital. He has been moved to a closer town so it won't be such a long day.

    Everyone have a great day.

    GM, members.

Warm-ish start with mid-50's, overcast. Soggy outside after ~2 inches of rain.

Soggy start here also. Got the granddaughter who turns two soon coming till 2:30 for the day. So not much outside work planned. She’s a little fireball so it takes both of us to keep an eye on her.

Got the first timberframe connection mocked up over the weekend. I have to get my measurements to make the braces before locking together permanently but it was nice to finally see some stacking progress.

The 362 leaked bar oil all over the rear floor mat in the truck so got that cleaned up and back to drawing board on carrying a “truck saw”. May put the MS250 in with a 16” bar. It’s never leaked.

Cleaned up the wood shop. I’m looking at dust collectors now used. It was a mess of planer chips and sawdust all over everything so time to tame that a bit.

Oh yeah. Loaded the shop stove like normal yesterday morning to knock the chill off. But with these warmer temps, the load I use for 10° weather and for 50° needs to be adjusted. Went to get coffee, and shop was at 95°! Whew..

Good morning, brother. What kind of dust collector are you looking for? Whole shop? Have you ever looked at the Grizzly line up? Decent machines for the money. Dad bought several from them. 24" dual drum sander, dust collector, large spindle sander, 3hp shaper. I bought a planer knife grinder later.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Cold front came in yesterday with strong winds all day. 56° this morning with a small craft warning issued. Time to pack up and head home after breakfast. See what home looks like again. May take the back roads way this time.
It's been an enjoyable weekend with my hunny. Cherish the time you have with loved ones, GOD will need them back one day.

Morning all. Overcast and hopefully no rain today. campinspecter would like to go and get another load of firewood. Our trip was different yesterday. We got down to visit our friend and he was in a Covid ward so we sent in what we brought him and gave him a phone call. Hopefully next week, we can actually visit him. Did some shopping and came home.
Back to work this week. Hard to believe it is May 1 already. 2 months and one week left of work.

    Everyone have a great day.
