Yes that is chestnut oak but the one below and to the left is BL. I noticed that after i replied and looked at this pic again. Id circle it but dont know how on my netbook. Also look at the bucked rounds pic and some of the BL rounds are left of the CO rounds.
Leave it to the resident forensics expert! I didn’t think anyone would see the BL there but buzzsaw Brad is like the terminator sent from the future to gather all the BL! Funny how hard it can be to tell what is in a log pile even when you’re standing right next to it. I actually mistook the BL for pizz willow at first. In addition to what was already mentioned, there is red oak, Norway maple and one stick of black birch.
Yep, still a couple of toads there. I’ll put on the 24” and get it finished up today. I told the neighbor his front yard has never looked better to me!
Looks like a proper FHCer lawn now. I had to perform an autopsy to be sure we got BL. I just couldn't believe how fast the 372 was eating through this stuff (I know the Stihl guys won't be able to relate)
Green black locust isnt that tough to cut. Have you ever cut stuff thats dead for a few years? Totally different animal.
