Been cutting a lot of oak recently. Mostly shorter logs and some with knots and a few crotches. Not the easiest or quickest to process but nothing big in diameter.

Temperature and sun was great but 30-35mph winds are no fun out in the field. Tough to keep the chips and dust out of your eyes on a day like that.

I have been skiing in Vermont the past 2 weekends and trying to cut some during the week. One more ski weekend coming up in a couple days and then it will be back to the full weekend grind. I haven't taken many pictures recently because, well I just haven't. Haha

Been working the cherry pile hard as of late. I’ve never had this much before. Probably looking at about 18 cords in that pile.

3 straight days of rain starting today...doesn't look like much of anything is going to get done. May spend some time trying to acquire more IBC totes on the cheap.

Awesome. That is quite a bit more. Will you try and sell it all as primo wood? If it doesnt all sell will it be mixed hardwood?
No umbrella or pop up tent for the splitter?

Umbrella never seems to be big enough and a pop up would get in the way of tossing spits up onto the pile.
All cherry gets sold as primo

Put in 2 hours of trigger time this morning before the rain came. Didn’t take any pictures though as I was getting wet as I was putting equipment away.

I was tempted in the sprinkles this morning myself, but heavier rain started and felt lazy.
