    Good morning fellow New englanders (everyone else of course)
    Flew to Dallas Monday for business and the rental car company told me to pick what I want.
    So yesterday after my afternoon meeting was canceled I rolled around Dallas in 80 degree sunshine in a dropped top Mustang.
    Life was good.

    Morning All. Missed yesterday due to putting the house together after a 6 hour power outage the night before. I don't call two hours notice on Facebook a "planned" outage even if it is an emergency. For me, living on Facebook 24/7 is not reality. Oh well, a tree across the only power lines feeding the entire area is an emergency all right.

    Rain expected for the next couple of days. Backwoods Savage it seems so dark in January as it is just getting light at 8:00 AM and it seems to be dark by 5:00 PM still. Heavy cloud cover during the day makes it dark as well. Another week it will be better.

    True. Our daylight times are very close to the same. But it happens every year and I doubt the Lord plans no big change there. lol So we just live with it. I do agree it was a lot different during those winters we spent in AZ. I did enjoy all the sunny days there.

    Good morning! 40F and sunny. Did more work in the shop last night, making a benchtop for the cabinets I set where the drill press will go. Then I made a cut list and cut lumber for most of a rolling project table. High school girls basketball away game tonight. Have a God day!

    Sure got warm yesterday afternoon and stayed warm overnight. Sound like we are in for a couple windy days now. But maybe I'll get some work done outside anyway.

    Upper 20's and overcast. Rain later in the 40's.

    The guys and I had a good few days away. We found winter. It's about 3 hrs north of us.

    I'll be bringing wood to the deck, run an errand, and start putting camping gear away.

    It is pouring rain and windy out there this morning. We had a weather alert last night regarding the wind. It is supposed to ease off this morning sometime. yesterday was windy so the rain didn't start until after dark. Hopefully no power outage this morning.

    Good morning! 42F and cloudy, temps will drop later. The basketball game last night was really something. My niece (freshman) plays on the JV team. They won by 52 points. Held the other team scoreless in the first half. She ended up with 5 points. Drove home in dense fog. Music practice at church tonight.
