    There were 4 of us. It took 6 hours.

    The stacks had to be watched closely to keep them fairly straight, then the crooks were helped along with a 3lb hammer.

    That tree is a white oak actually.

    I had that wood in a big pile. I thought it would season fairly well that way, but was very badly mistaken. After three feet or so down and inward, the wood was black and wet.

    No more piles for us......

    I think the 12th piece back on the 3rd pile from the left needs moved to the 2nd pile from the right and they will all be uniform then.
