    Going on my 7 days off. Heading over to Ala to visit friends tomorrow for a couple days. Always take them a load of wood. Not much else going on today.

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. 55° and foggy. Days off now, we have to finish packing, load some hickory and split the last of those oak round we had left. We always take our friends a load of wood. Before we leave, I'm going over to help a friend measure for the service wire to his shop he is building.

    Good morning! 34F with rain/sleet on the way. Definitely an interesting day yesterday. I went home for lunch and found some wood had been purchased from my roadside stand. Oddly, they only took part of a $20 stack, along with bundles, mini bundles and kindling. I set about refilling the stand. When I opened the cash box I found $7 and a note saying, "I owe you $40." Of course it wasn't signed. I picked up a few pieces of hard maple from a roadside scrounge along with a pallet after work. Then a bit of engineering. I mounted a section of pool noodle over a 5A drumstick to allow me to get a solid grip with my left hand, while being able to extend the index finger because I can't bend it much yet. Worked like a charm! Need to refill the stand again after work and make more bundles. Have a God day!

    Good morning all.
    Had a trip to Oklahoma last week and upon getting home Monday, I started feeling a little rough.
    Short version, COVID test come up positive this morning. With wife berating me about wearing my mask, washing hands,etc., I’m going out to the shop and starting up the Woodchuck furnace for some peace and quiet.
    I feel better today. Yesterday kinda sucked though.

    Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. 51° heading to 59° here in Alabama. Had a safe trip over, rained in spots. Met Dee Dee for dinner when she got off work about 6PM, Craig was playing a show south of Birmingham.
