Did more shortening of too long splits yesterday. It was a nice day to be running a saw. And once again, thanks go out to my good friend, Redneck for the use of his cut-off jig.

The reason I had to be out cutting yesterday was we are running short of wood. The below picture shows that shortage. Do you think I can make it through this winter?

Is it April 1st already or does someone need to bring you out an emergency supply?
When I bought my house that's about what I had when we moved in, in mid-January. Suffice to say, I ran out of wood before the winter ran out of cold days :picard:

Dennis saying he's running short of wood? Sounds like April's fool.

Now Dennis doesn’t lie, so maybe he is short of wood in that 1/2 acre.

Dennis, if you have a GTG this year, and I can make it, I'm going to make it my job to be the "bucking length inspector" so that you don't have this needless extra handling/work every year! Even if I can't make it, I'll make a PITA out of myself with all the reminders on the "live" thread! :BrianK: :handshake:
I know you like to get out and do a little cutting when you can, (who doesn't?!) but its no fun when there is so much to do that you are all knotted up for days after!

I've used my 14" chopsaw before. I liked it. A sharp cordwood saw set-up must be nice.
