    I've had some old poulan and craftsman saws that had really big anti kick back links. You couldn't plunge cut at all.

    Your not supposed to be able to plunge cut at All with a safety chain. The radius of the safety link is supposed to block the tooth from cutting.

    Definitely some It would be impossible.
    You can with the PS3 stihl reduced kickback like Brad showed and I have currently on the saws.

    Cant say ive ever plunge cut with a small saw. I dont do it that often and have been trying to do it more.

    Picco micro mini comfort is what's on the ms170 stock. Notice the pmmc in the link, but click on the link and the c for comfort ( not cookie) goes away. Whatever it is It cuts pretty darn well.

    Mine was free too, but brand new. :). I have sharpened the chain on mine though. ;)

    PXL_20221030_234332549.jpg Heres a brand new loop of old Carlton safety chain with the huge anti kick back bumpers. There would be no bore/plung cutting with this.
