Those lithium batteries will keep you warm for a while, don’t get them near salt water either! Awesome stuff right there with this agenda.

I priced both the Ryobi and the E-go electric ZTR's and found then to be way more than I was willing to part with. I can buy a boatload of gas for my gas ZTR for what they cost. Besides, both are made in China and I bet the DeWalt is as well. Both the Ryobi and the E-go are right around 6 grand OTD.

Back to inflation....or whatever the reason... I hadn't paid attention to store eggs in a while since we've a few got chickens, and most of the time they do what we need, unless we need white for coloring etc.... Guy at work asked today about chickens and eggs, told me what a doz was at WM now. I had to get some stuff after work anyway, and checked out the eggs....

Menards was running a sale on Hormel boneless (frozen) pork chops at $9.95 for an 8 pack while they last. We went early and cleaned out about half the freezer case. They are excellent and we like pork in general. Amy took 10 packs and now are in the deep freeze minus the one we consumed last night.

Eggs went up to $4 a while ago and stayed there. Not fluctuating week to week like they used to. Same with lettuce, up to $1.99 about 9 months ago and hasn't changed. There's something odd about the lack of price fluctuating. Almost as if all competition has been removed from the retail/distributor game.

30 gallons all at once ?
If the price goes up in the middle of pumping do you get the start rate or the finish rate ?

My neighbor was just telling me he filled the 120 gallon fuel tank on his boat. I asked when we were going fishing. He laughed and said it’s for when “ things get bad”.

Imagine using your 50k boat as a gas can.

Blaming eggs on the bird scamdemic of 2022. Turkeys doubled in time for thanksgiving. I’m shooting those things just because they are a nuisance and I won’t buy one.

We've had egg scandemics before. Prices didn't rise this high for this long. The coyotes usually put a good dent in the turkey population here, although we had a few young ones make it thru the Summer. I've caught the coyotes taking the young ones that can't fly yet. I don't see cats walking around any more either.

We've had chickens around for quite a few years, so I don't watch the price of store eggs very much at all... I havent looked at what turkey prices are. But I've never had a wild one that tasted like a store one.

I’ve got someone nearby feeding them turkeys. Got probably 100 of them. They are ballsy too until mr Remington unloads on them. Lasts about 2 days and they come back for another round of thinning.
