Straight grains!

    Just a couple pics from the oak I'm splitting, some huge rounds in here, this is one of the biggest, I should've measured it but oh well. Just a bit tired!

    I wouldn't have put money on that!
    I could probably maul some of this honestly.
    These rounds are also better hydrated than me too, need to drink a bottle of water for every cup of coffee.

    When I get into some big rounds with nice straight grain I break out the axe and get to swinging. And yea sometimes they're just full of water haha.

    I've been working up alot of red oak I've been cutting and that straight grained stuff is a joy to work, other than the weight....
