I leave him alone for the day and he gets involved in a plumbing project. We now have a heating zone working again.

    Good morning, members.

    A nice day ahead.

I'll be heading to my SIL's this morning to continue cutting on various logs. A friend of mine will be with me.

Yesterday's cardiologist appointment with my dad went well.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. I took today off. Going to Lowe's to pick up a few things, looking at another possible tree job (all pines), then our grandson Jeffery has a birthday party this afternoon. Going to smoke a few wings for the party.

Good evening! Did some cutting in the wood yard this morning. Then string trimming and made bundles for the roadside stand. After that, a birthday party and late lunch. When we got home I mowed the front yard. Then a car show and waiting for fireworks. Have a God day!

Good morning everyone! I'm savoring some coffee time before my grandson wakes up, he had a sleepover last night. He's easy now, 8 and three quarters, reads all the time.
I haven't been up to much, weeding mostly. Starting to get the first cherry tomatoes, and my lettuce has regrown after being chomped down to nubs by some critter.
Daylillies are coming into bloom! Yes that is a huge catnip plant behind them. I love summer. IMG_20220710_58500.jpg

Quite a day yesterday at the Festival. Best thing was I asked a lady a question about something in a craft booth. She answered then looked at me and called me by name and said it has been too many years since we had seen each other. Wow! I had not noticed when I asked but she turned out to be an old classmate that I had not seen since 1954! The best part was that she is the first girl I ever had a crush on! Amazing, and so was the hug I got.

Morning All. Grey and overcast again this morning. Yesterday was wet all day. Today I am cleaning off my computer desk. I think the paperwork is 4" thick in places.
Midwinter my garden has run wild. Whenever there has been time to work on it, it has been raining or the ground is too wet to do anything with. This is the wettest spring we have had in a long time. I think my plan is to clean out the weeds and cover everything with black plastic and think about next year.
Backwoods Savage what a nice surprise you got at the Festival.
MikeInMa with so much rain this spring our lawns are growing wild. Very few days it has been dry enough to mow. When it does happen, you can hear lawnmowers all over the place as we all take advantage of the short dry spell.
Our temps have only passed 70F for a couple of days back in June. I am hopeful we will get a few more before fall. I don't think we will see 80F this year if we stay home for the summer.

    Everyone have a great day.

My yard and flower gardens are surviving in spite of me, and a lack of rain. We are in a "moderate drought". 2nd step in drought severity.

My shoulder set me back on the perennial beds. Weeds have run amock.
