Yeoch!! I'm guessing that loop is junk now. I bump rock occasionally at the place I've been cutting. It's frustrating but I usually don't do a ton of damage when it happens.

 

That's quite the kerf.

 

That’s always a buzz kill, especially for a hand sharpener.

Wow! That chain put up a good fight leaving the mark in the rock that it did!

Was offered a large yard tree pecan. Hit metal 4 times and left it; got 1/3 trailer load max. It sucked for sure:

 

You will lose almost half your cutter but that chain can be saved.

That $UCK$! If i suspect metal in the trunk ill try to cut it last and keep my fingers crossed!

 

See Brad, Husky's cut so quick, they exit the log at an accelerated rate. Your Stills go so slow, you don't cut out real quick and can feel that stone right away.
