Good morning! It's cloudy today but warm and humid. I passed a tree service working on my way home yesterday, 2 blocks from my house. I stopped and talked to the foreman. Within 10 minutes after I got home, he was in my driveway with a full hopper of wood chips. They're still working so I'm not sure what's happening with the wood yet. I got some string trimming done as well. Tonight I need to finish mowing the front yard and split to fill an IBC tote. Sometime I'll get those wood chips spread in the production yard. Morning All. Woke up to overcast and showery today. Just heard that my co-worker won't be in today. A lot of sickness going around. No replacement for her, so I will be a one man show today. It will be busy.

Well, as expected, mom has tested positive for covid. No symptoms. 10 days of quarantine for both. ~sigh~

I'll be going for a walk This morning....behind the lawnmower.

I hope to have lunch with a friend.

Good morning! 73, sunny and HUMID today. Supposed to reach 86. Feels like July. Tree service that brought chips Monday dropped off the tree yesterday morning. Looks like I have 4-4.5 cords of logs in the wood yard (plus at another cord in the back) at the moment. My work is cut out for me. I mowed as much of the front yard as possible. Still wet near the road. Then split about half a face cord and moved and spread several scoops of chips. More splitting on the schedule for tonight. I'm taking a fan with me. Have a God day!

Mid 50's and overcast, a bit of fog. Heading to 70⁰, mixed sun and clouds.

I managed to cut the lawn yesterday. But after 2 days of yard work, my shoulder was feeling "used". So I'll dial it back today.

A good day for a walk.

I'll also harvest some rhubarb and cook it down with strawberries. I'll add some tapioca, and just a little bit of sugar, to taste. I end up with what appears to be strawberry rhubarb preserves, but not all that sweet. I prefer the tartness of the rhubarb to be front and center. It's good on toast, or just in a bowl. A different way to have some fruit and vegetable.

Good morning everyone! 53° now, headed to 75°. I've been busy making firewood, getting the pool ready to open, and yardwork. Today I'll plant 6 tomato plants, 3 peppers, and a bunch of annuals, all in containers. I think we're out of danger for a frost.
The listing for the condo in Cambridge is ready to go live, but my realtor caught Covid, so it won't go on the market until next week. Glad I wore a mask when I met with her last Friday.
The lawn WILL get mowed today!

Good morning! 70F and sunny, less humid today. I shuffled some racks of wood last night to prep for splitting this weekend. Need to move some furniture at my in-laws before they get back from Florida this weekend. It's our 32nd wedding anniversary today. We managed to score some free tickets to a Danny Gokey concert so we're going out to celebrate on the cheap. Have a God day!

 

Thank you for your concern. I tend to take on more than I should at times but not for this job. It fortunately wasn't as busy I thought it would be. Today is another day where I am on my own but my co-worker had to do that yesterday while I was gone. We are so short staffed in many areas.
