    Should have taken a picture. Couple years ago a tree was removed from the roadside power line right of way near my house. They left a piece that grew around the line itself. It has since rotted and fell to the ground. Hopefully no one is underneath those when they finally drop!

    Ive seen similar growing around chain link fences. Log chunk left in the fence.

    Is that where two limbs grew together from rubbing and someone cut away the unfused portion??? I see limbs around here that have fused, but not where it was cut away. I have to say that is pretty cool.

    Yes, the limbs fused at those 2 points. I cut the limb away years ago and I’m pretty sure I tried to beat those rounds off. Hoping they never release while someone is standing below.
