Well brand new to me anyways. 65 year old homelite ez6. Picked it up for 20 bucks. Ideally I’d like it to run but if it’s just a wall hanger that’s ok too. So far I can see it’s missing the clutch and recoil covers. I haven’t looked through it yet to see what else it’s missing. I’d imagine parts for these old saws aren’t that easy to come by so If anyone has a source let me know. I may tinker with it this evening. What are some of the first things you would do to try and get it running? Obviously the gas tank has gotta be cleaned out, smells like turpentine and can see gunk in there. I’m not a total rookie but far from a small engine mechanic.

Cant say ive ever picked up a saw that old. I had a non working Mac from the late 1960's given to me. Big one (80cc+) that wasnt light.
