That's what I do. Hoard my own and hoard to sell in Sept. My cords of good hardwoods sell for a bit more than $500. There is a company in my area that sells cords of madrona and the like for $1000 per cord. And they get a lot of business. They say they kiln dry their wood. They also sell cords of low btu alder for $700, that is crazy.
