Nixon, very sorry to hear! Your BIL is on our prayer list and that prayer is for a successful recovery! Safety harness - pain in the butt to learn to put it on, but it has its place! On the log loader, if you left the cab other than to go to the ground, it was mandatory safety gear. I very much liked the security of the harness while cleaning the windows!
Thanks for all thr kind words and offers of prayer . I'll pass them along to my BIL and his family . As to me being a good guy as some suggested . Nope ! Just believe that if you don't help those in need when you can ,that when your time comes ( and it will ) , that you have no reason to complain if you recieve no help ,or compassion . @campinspector ...... Firm believer in PPE here . I believe My BIL is fast becoming one . When he heals up well enough ,I've got a new set of full wrap chaps to start him out .
Oh my, I hope he recovers better than expected. I, too, and guilty of trying to bite off more than my chainsaw can chew, on ladders. My heart races, hoping I do it just right--I have been lucky. Now I will either take better precautions, hire someone, or just let it be.
sorry to hear of your bill's misfortune. you never know when your time clock is about to be punched no matter how careful you can try and be.
