Somebody in my friend's neighborhood had this Douglas fir cut down and was offering the wood to anyone who wanted it. The drive wasn't too far compared to my usual sources, but it was the opposite direction and much less enjoyable. I got 2 loads. My dad brought his truck along on my second trip and we filled his truck too. My friend has taken a couple of pickup loads so far. This was a good score while I wait for snow to melt in some other spots.
