Here's a hammer at the back of the fire box just to show how massive it is. The blower that I will install once it's in the house Ash drawer with instructions and handles the label Minor shipping damage, its on the back so I won't see it everyday. The spot you put a fresh air intake onto I have a good use for the French instructions Breaking her in, the French was the fire starter This piece is 19 inches long and would not have fit in my old stove This is like Christmas all over again!!
sweet! Looks like the damage is mostly on the side panels. I’d call sbi they have great customer service. I’d be willing to bet they would send you replacement.
Incase your French is as good as mine it’s pronounce drolay. The Frenchman chuckled at me when I pronounced it like toilet. Lol
Nope just a couple rows high of pine in there. I have been building it up. Adding more and more to try to burn off the smells off of it.
Nah, im good a little cosmetic damage is fine. If the glass was broken or any of the fire bricks cracked it would definitely be going back to canada
I honestly didn’t! The side panels come off with just a couple screws. I ran the HT without them for a while. I thought it was weird how little heat comes off the sides.
The beast is in the basement... And a side by side comparison.... The blower off the old stove fits the new stove, I can part that out and keep the new one for when the old blower craps out!! Winner, Winner!! I forgot my duct work tools at work. I'll get the chimney hooked up tomorrow.
