This piece is 19 inches long and would not have fit in my old stove

    sweet!

Looks like the damage is mostly on the side panels. I’d call sbi they have great customer service. I’d be willing to bet they would send you replacement.

Nope just a couple rows high of pine in there. I have been building it up. Adding more and more to try to burn off the smells off of it.

Nah, im good a little cosmetic damage is fine. If the glass was broken or any of the fire bricks cracked it would definitely be going back to canada

I honestly didn’t! The side panels come off with just a couple screws. 68EDE35B-65A4-465B-B088-1A963E3A9806.jpeg I ran the HT without them for a while. I thought it was weird how little heat comes off the sides.

The beast is in the basement... 20220207_184713.jpg
And a side by side comparison.... 20220207_181053.jpg
The blower off the old stove fits the new stove, I can part that out and keep the new one for when the old blower craps out!! Winner, Winner!! 20220207_184450.jpg

I forgot my duct work tools at work. I'll get the chimney hooked up tomorrow.
