Anyone have a weather station for your home? I'm looking at this one linked below, just something a bit more accurate than the weather channel etc. https://www.sportsmansguide.com/pro...echnology-wireless-wifi-weather-set?a=2262527 Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I've got the following, happy with it and can see what conditions are at the house no matter where I am. May be more pricey than you're looking for. https://ambientweather.com/amws2902.html
I've had an entry level Acurite Wireless Weather Station for a couple of years. It's very basic but accurate if you keep the outside sensor out of the rain and direct sunlight. Seems like I paid around $35 at my local Lowes Home Center.
I have an AcuRite 5 in 1 at both places. I like the ability to monitor things remotely since they report out to Weather Underground. I think I’ve had them both for about 5 years. They’re relatively trouble free. One of the solar panels on my unit in CT went bad. I think it was $40 or so for the housing I replaced.
All we have is an analog thermometer in the window. I can jump on the laptop and call up local weather if need be. Besides, I can look outside and see the conditions..in this case all white. Also have an analog rain gauge on the deck rail. I think it was 3 bucks at the farm store. me, I'm into simple and cheap.
My wife got me this one a couple years ago. I really like it. About the only thing it doesn't have is wind speed meter. That would be nice. La Crosse C85845V3 – Best Lacrosse Weather Station ✅ Weather Radio Review
