Morning All. T.Jeff Veal yes, retirement is looking great as I finish working 5 days in a row. I am enjoying being back to work but I am looking forward to the end of it as well. Next week will be only two days. Dark and windy out there and we are expecting rain. Yesterday turned out to be beautiful sunshine and warm. Almost like our summer weather.

Happy Friday! 32F and cloudy. Temps holding steady and then dropping tonight for a cooler day tomorrow. I set a nearly full tote of shorts and uglies next to my roadside stand last night to see if it sells. I have most of a tote full of ash splits to resplit tonight so I have more inventory for the roadside stand. Tomorrow will consist of cleaning up the processing center, moving the splitter a little so I can get the skid steer into some of my racks and bucking some more of my log inventory. Have a God day!

 

Good morning all. Started out 30s. Temps falling all day. Gonna get as low as 2* overnight. Will remain cold on Saturday but back in the upper 20s Sunday.
Found out my youngest has covid. Mainly just ran a fever. Plans on going back to work Saturday.

Good frosty morning, everyone.

6⁰ here and breezy. Supposed to be a sunny day.

I have the oil heat on. But, just for about 15mins. As the wood stove comes back to full temp, it's nice to blow warm air into the bedroom. Mrs MikeInMa usually doesn't get up before 6am. Forced hot air heats the place up pretty quick.

No real plans for the day, until later. Football playoffs. Go Pats!

Good morning. Minus 11 here in Vermont. Coldest it’s been this season. Steam boiler is running. I left the stove full of seasoned oak but it didn’t quite make it through the night.

Good morning. It is 1f, heading for 15f with sun. Picked up 4-5” of new snow yesterday. Got the fire rolling and warming up our home nicely. Heading out the lake to do some spearing and angling around 7AM.

Good morning everyone! My phone says 10° but the wind makes it feel colder. Just going to the Y and the grocery store today, otherwise doing inside things.
Appliance issues have been resolved for now. The new dishwasher works great, and the clothes washer still works for now, even though it thumps during the spin cycle.
Yesterday I helped my neighbor get about a third of a cord of dry oak over to her porch. She said this would take her through the winter, I said I'll see you in early February!
Jill, I hope your youngest bounces back all right!

Morning All. Dark and dry out there. Rain in the forecast. Tsunami warning for the coast of Vancouver Island. A volcano erupted last night in the Tongo Island. Prayers for the safety of the people down there.

Jesus set the example for us in many ways. Being baptized as a sign of commitment to follow God being one of the first of them. What God declared that day can be said of each one of us as we make that same commitment.
