Should be right around 5-6 inches. I will be using hot water to resurface.

That looks so great. Around here, it would stay liquid all winter with maybe a skim of ice on it for a few days. What a great thing for the kids.

That is awesome. What a fun thing for the kids to have right in their own backyard.
Funny to see ground with complete snow cover , around here we still have plenty of leaves on the trees.

Is there a concrete pad under the entire thing?

edit I guess it’s the membrane that has the grid pattern on it…

Crushed stone. The liner is 5mil, the grid system you see is straps that hold the red feet that hold the side panels in place.

My lined up defensemen. In this mornings game my boy had 4 goals and my daughter 1 and they won 10-1. EEDB31B0-F027-4DAD-ABD8-6CD1AA1FDC3F.jpeg 7680A08F-A47A-4BB9-8B2E-29A1C923BD52.jpeg

Tonight’s game my two defensemen did really well. This is the team we tied with last night. Today’s tie was 4-4 and a 3-3 shootout. J had 3 goals (hat trick) and the first player to go in the shootout, he scored. His sister didn’t score tonight but had just over 10 shots on goal, her first year playing full ice. She held her own, and was lucky to be on the ice at the same time as her brother, who was coaching the whole team while he was on ice. He really wants to earn the Captain’s position.

From this past weekend we are the Big Lake Hard Ice tournament champions. Team had 44 goals and gave up 5. My two defensemen combined to have 10 goals. AF140514-84C2-46DD-856A-1AE91F4E62DF.jpeg 0B19BDA4-2083-408C-A65E-ECEF6067E937.jpeg
