If I had a 241 and a 362 and still wanted another saw I'd save my pennies and bide my time for a 462CM.

Griz, I have a feeling you are gonna go through a few saws in the next couple years..

Just ask me how I know... :dex:

So? Did you really order that 241C-M?

The video I posted of my 362c octane test, was with a Sugihara 20" with a oregon ck square chisel half skip with a 8 pin. It seems to cut really well with an 8 pin. Randy told me the ported 362c would love a 8 pin. Griz with a 16" bar and a 7 pin that saw ported would probably be all choaked up and held back?

Yea 241 mc on the way:dex:I was by the dealer today to get my 16 inch bar and 2 yellow tab chains :wacky: Its got to be wicked fast I would think. Bar got hot when I fired it up though. The weight VS power on the 362mc is unbelieveable I love it ! I always take a look at the saw shelf on the way in I took a double look at 441cm on the way in:thumbs: That may be my 18 inch bar saw:rofl: :rofl: :saw::saw::dex::dex:

If the 441 is an 18" ....

    Then you're gonna need a 661 for a 20" :dex:

All kidding aside. You went from a very good and dependable saw (MS 250), to two of the better power to weight saws that Stihl makes. The smile on your face can be seen around the world! :)

I like the 241, but 40 cc machines are not my personal preference. I like 60 cc and up. I made an exception one last time for a 50 cc saw. And that is the 261C-M. It's in Randy's hands for the short term, as it needs ported yet :dex: But I have always settled on other saws when I should have bought the 261C-M.

I went through a Husq 545, then a new 2253 Jonsered, then a new Husq 550xp, then a new 555. Def should have kept the 555... But I like Creamsicles. Those are just some of the newer models. I have had several 026/260's, Dolmar 5100S, etc. I just like bigger saws.

Don't know.. He normally has a couple. But he may have none? All depends on of he traded work for saws?

No such thing as a 462 (yet). The 461 is the most updated version of the MS 460 Magnum.

I don't know if he has numerous 261's?

I know he had one.. But that one is spoken for ;)

I have been messing and ribbing with ya. But in all seriousness and reality? What is the biggest wood you want to/have to cut?
