Wood ID please...

    Interesting but black locust has had some peculiar smells to it. I've tried to describe it but it's a different smell as I've had different sources of it. So if you don't smell something in the fresh split, I can't say you have BL there....the mulberry seems most likely but I don't have experience with it.
