Hunted elk on Fossil Ridge which is NE of Gunnison from 94 to 07. Always saw the mountain lion tracks and once got a glimpse of a big one. It was eerie hunting back to camp and finding a big cat had followed your tracks out in the morning before daylight.

I don't think so. They have a decent tail but not that long. Here is one making like a taxi. Probably wondering why so many! lol
