Yep I am with huskihl on this one. 3/4 inch pipe is plenty big enough for that size saw. I would just put a piece of sheet metal over the hole and screw it down to block it off.
That looks like it was welded with mild steel filler on a stainless can, tig with er308 and I think the problem will go away.
The fellow I bought it from used a screw in cap. I will be screwing down some 20 gauge steel this weekend, and checking my tune. Thanks for all the advice !!
Received a stainless tig job tonight. I finished cutting the Ash with my stock muffler earlier this week. Can’t wait to how it feels in a cut. I closed the high jet an 1/8 and sounds good so far.
