Meant to post this yesterday but ran out of time. Looks like the temperature is cranking up. It will be like full blown summer cutting wood this next week. I did cut for 5 hours today and it got up to 93 but with the breeze and dropping humidity through the day, it wasn’t terrible.

Ugh! Made 90 here today too, at least the humidity wasn't terrible. They say that's coming Monday.:( I'm done & ready for fall & winter, I hate this weather.

Yep, here too. Was calling for 91 today, 93 tomorrow and 91 Monday. Central air is blowing through the money, ugh.

Not sure what the temp was today, plenty warm for sure...but there was a nice stiff breeze, like 15-20 MPH...made it pretty nice really

Had plenty of heat here in Iowa, too. Was 90 or so, but not terrible humidity levels just yet and we also had a nice breeze blowing. Humidity is supposed to get higher the next couple days and hang around for awhile.

Upper 90s to 100 in much of Minnesota for 5-6 days. Warmest temps in three years, and it’s only the first week of June!

Record low last weekend, potential record high this weekend.

Something like mid-90's yesterday and upper 80's today. Unloaded 5 large wheelbarrow loads from the pickup to the backyard yesterday, and today cut and split the rest of the wood by the splitter. One pile down, lot's more to go...
Sorry, should have taken pictures, but what can I say.

You perhaps should say that you can wait for cooler temperatures! I know what it can be like out there and for sure you don't need to bundle up right now.

This was taken around the time I stopped cutting yesterday. Went home and spread 5 yards of mulch before I hit the pool.

This is why I hate processing wood in the summer. Too hot, too many bugs, poison ivy and other itchy crap more rampant, more moisture content in wood so heavier and longer to season, more brush to deal with, more mud.

It's only mid 80's here but the humidity is oppresive. Thunderstorm just came through cooled things during the rain. Now the humidity is worse. And I got 4 cords of bucked wood to split

I'm grateful beyond words that for summer this year, I don't HAVE to cut wood. I still will here and there as the compulsion demands, but I paid my dues and earned some free time to kick back in the swimming pool

Same here, 3-4 years ahead right now. Most of what I am working on will be sold for a little spending cash.
