A Woodstock Fireview should be a wonderful addition to your remodel.
    I loved mine.

1200 square feet in South Carolina sounds like a good job for a Jotul F100, sometimes called the Viking.

    Bumping this back up,

I’ve yet to see one in person but the pleasant hearths seems to get good reviews online, and they are USA made, Do many on here have them?

Brands that people seem to be satisfied with: Lopi, Pacific Energy, Jotul, Blaze King, Quadrafire, Woodstock, Century, Napoleon, Kuma, Enviro, Morso, Buck, Osburn, Drolet, Englander. Maybe Timberwolf too?
You won't need a big stove. The only way to get long burns with a smaller stove is to get a catalytic model.
Brands that people usually post about problems with: Vogelzang, US Stove Company, Vermont Castings.

I had a 2 cubic foot steel stove in a 1200 sq ft house in Massachusetts. It would keep the downstairs at 85 degrees. I moved but if I still lived there I would have swapped it out for a small cat stove like the fireview or keystone.

Small non cats are nice and easy but you have to reload like every 4-5 hours.

I have one heating about 1000sq ft in N Wis. I think it’s a great stove, easily burns 8-12 hours, built like a tank, glass stays clean and very easy to operate.

How big is the firebox? Looks on the smaller side which I think will suit you just fine. I lived in SC when I was in the Air Force. Winters are generally short and mild. I think you’ll be good.

I don’t remember without looking at it,
I know it’s rated for 16” logs and 1200sq ft which will heat my house just fine

Looks like a 13-NC, there should be a readable tag on the back with the model number and clearance to combustibles, if it hasn't been painted over.
