Well, I've done gone and done it.... Just put a deposit on an Absolute Steel to lock in the "before price increase " price. Lorin was great to deal with over the phone, answering my questions and offering advice as she could. She said it may be somewhere in the July timeframe before shipment. As you may imagine, they are extremely busy today...
Long time to wait for it huh. I have been pre-occupied since I ordered mine so it hasn’t bothered me much yet. Actually, what does bug me a bit is that I can’t pay the full amount till it ships b/c they don’t know the actual shipping price. Not WS fault but still bugs me having something out there that I owe. Also, it will be warm when we get ours so I have to wait even longer to use it!
When I bought they wanted to ship right away and I wanted them to wait. I also ordered early to take advantage at that time of no shipping charge. So rather than a deposit I paid in full so they did delay the shipping. I wanted it in September but got it in July. It worked out good.
