Hope everyone is having a good Easter, got out this morning and finished cutting up the one big elm I had laying down.

Started cutting up the poplar I have down, only got 2 cut up and a small maple then the misses called and was wondering what time I would be home as we are going to Walmart and get some paint as we are redoing a bedroom (I told her last night as I was doing the prep the painting was all her, I hate painting, so at least when we get home I can unload the truck after I help paint  ) So I finished up the tree i was on and headed out.

    Elm..... RUN !!!!

Still working on some that Brad and myself picked up over the past few weeks.
I was able to split it all and some pieces split much easier than others , even with the hydro hatchet . Lots of stringy pieces and fibers in some of it.
Just a small amount left to stack and even stacking some of the pieces with all the strings hanging out every which-way is a challenge ; but I will admit I am not the best at stacking either.

Hey if you don't want it you can always give it to " woodwolverine " rumor is he loves elm.
