Wife and I are planning a vacation this Oct. for our 25th. Think we’re going to fly into Seattle and rent a small travel camper and drive south and explore. We’ve already been from Muir Woods to Santa Barbara Ca and absolutely loved the scenery. If you have any must hit spots kinda close to the coast, share em please. I think first order of business will be the air/space museum in Seattle. I’m a big fan of that kinda stuff and she noticed it online. I think we are flying home out of Reno. We took off for a 10 day jaunt. Hope to see some giant redwoods again. Boy were they awesome! Also hoping for Yosemite and possibly Sequoia National Park.

October this year will be our 25th too.
Our two youngest will be off to college somewhere if all goes according to Hoyle. One of them not to far from you.
Might be a good idea to follow suit with a trip.

Or maybe, with all of them gone, stay home.

Our youngest will be off to Ithaca NY this fall. Other one is nearing 21 and I don't see a move anytime soon, so a trip it was. :quad:

There is another air museum in Oregon. I want to say in Tillamook or Woodburn? They have the Spruce goose aircraft there.

We went to an awesome aviation museum in Tillamook. It was a rainy day and we were practically the only ones there. Tillamook Air Museum

It's in an old WWII blimp hanger. I believe it's the largest wooden structure in the world? I recall being impressed with it. But I think the museum couldn't afford the upkeep on the building and moved out, or moved some of their collection out.

The drive down the coast on 101 in Oregon is beautiful the whole way.

There are spots that it feels like you're 100 feet from the ocean, but 1,000 feet above it. Hope you get the chance to take it.

We will for sure. When we were n Cali last, we traveled coastal highway for a good clip. It was epic! Regularly saw whales spouting off the coast.

We stayed at Lincoln City, Or for a couple of days and walked the beach. It seemed weird to have vehicles on the beaches as up here, that is a huge no no.
