20210122_145222.jpg I bucked some dead ash logs I had close to the house then brought 2 trailer loads of red oak off the hill. I hope to have it all split and stacked by spring.

Nice wood. Looks like that should be fairly easy to split , straight and clean.

How's the tongue weight on that trailer . By the picture it looks like it is really close to the back.
My small trailer had the axle close to the rear and every time I loaded it the tongue weight was really heavy . I had to pile the rear of the trailer a lot higher that the front. I moved the axle forward and what a difference. Now I can fill it to the rim and don't even know it is behind me.

I only had to go about 200 yards on the driveway. It's a light duty trailer and not well made.

That's some nice rounds. Just do some along as you have nice days, be done before you know it.

This splits pile up when you have logs that size.

We have two as well , they are stepbrothers with same father and different mothers. Younger is 2 1/2 and older is going to be 4 in late June. Names are Ca$h and Zonk.
Great dogs with a ton of energy.

Hope you get some splitting in soon

My 2 are littermate sisters a little over 2 yo and settling down. We're isolated and about 1/4 mile off the road so we let them run individually and supervised 3 or 4 times a day to burn energy. They run like greyhounds when they 1st go out. I'm looking forward to when we can trust them to run together, probably be awhile.
